Description :

A curated selection of vintage belt buckles, brooches, rings, and perfume compacts spanning the 1920s–1970s. Crafted from Bakelite, celluloid, Lucite, carved bone, and metal, each piece is chosen for its craftsmanship, origin, and storytelling potential.

Art Deco Celluloid Ring – Floral Carving (c. 1930s) A molded yellow celluloid, featuring a raised rose surrounded by delicately carved leaves. This piece captures the whimsy and wearability of the Deco era. Likely made in Germany or the USA.

Max Factor “Khara” Creme Perfume Necklace (c. 1960s) Gold-toned hinged compact engraved with branding and net weight (.02 oz). Originally filled with creme perfume, this Hollywood novelty merges fashion and fragrance. Marked “Max Factor, Hollywood, Calif. 90028.”

Lucite Max Factor Pendant Compact – Woven Top (c. 1970s) Deep green Lucite compact with a 2.25" diameter and ornate metallic woven lid. Originally housed solid perfume. Decorative top intact; pre-owned condition. A charming vanity piece with bold mid-century styling.

“Made in Germany” Marbled Buckles (c. 1930s–40s) Pair of circular molded plastic buckles with brass bars and faint red “Made in Germany” stamps. Likely celluloid or Galalith. Approx. 2" diameter.

“Made in Czechoslovakia” Triangular Accent (c. 1930s) Embossed gold-toned triangle marked “Made in Czechoslovakia,” likely part of a brooch or buckle. Excellent condition with crisp markings. A provenance-rich detail for collectors or assemblage artists.

Carved Resin & Bone Buckles – Mixed Motifs (c. 1930s–50s) A mix of floral, geometric, and figural designs in carved bone, resin, and stone. Includes heart-shaped, oval, and rectangular forms.

Assorted Deco & Mid-Century Brooches Includes figural faces, floral clusters, scalloped geometrics, and novelty shapes. Materials range from Bakelite to celluloid and early plastics.
