Description :

A striking set of three authentic fossil fish specimens from the world-renowned Green River Formation in Wyoming, USA. Each specimen features a well-preserved Knightia eocaena, the official state fossil of Wyoming, dating to the Eocene Epoch (approx. 50 million years ago). The fish fossils exhibit remarkable anatomical detail, showing distinct vertebrae, fins, and tail structure, all naturally embedded in circular matrix plates of pale limestone. Each fossil is beautifully mounted in a display box with a soft background and black frame, ready for museum, study, or home display. No restoration or artificial coloring is evident—these are naturally occurring fossils from ancient freshwater lake beds once teeming with life.
