Description :
Our clients traveled quite extensively and were interested in myriad topics as they lived their lives. This a a sampling of some of the jewelry they collected over the years. All appear to be vintage! From Germany: - Vintage Frankfurt traditional dress pin portrays a man and woman in trachten (traditional garb) although the folks in Frankfurt probably don't wear lederhosen as frequently as those in Bavaria. - Vintage metal bracelet with various German cities/coats of arms in enamel. No maker or material mark. From Egypt: - Pendant necklace featuring Queen Nefertiti (the actual sculpted head now lives in Berlin). No maker or material mark, it is NOT sterling. - Mummy earrings. No maker or material mark. - Sterling ring with stone scarab - no maker, but marked sterling, From Greece: - Pendant necklace featuring the Erechtheion at the Acropolis in Athens. The verso has a green physical map of Greece. Note the damage on the Erechtheion side. From South/Central America: - Pendant necklace/pin featuring an alpaca - we are guessing Peru or Chile. No maker or material mark. - Triangular abalone shell earrings with metal base. They might be sterling, but the only mark is that it is from Mexico. Note that one of the earrings appears to have lost a lot of its color -we don't know if that can be restored. SE Asia - Small Buddha figure (onyx?) - Pair of gold tone dancer earrings. North America: - Kokopelli figure (we think in sterling) with stone decoration. Has "TEX" inscribed on the back. Probably American SW. - Pair of bone (?) earrings - We are unsure if it is a bird, walrus, volcano, or something else. No maker mark or material.
