Description :
Striking hand‑woven Peruvian wool textile depicting Pablo Picasso’s Jacqueline With Flowers. Created in the tradition of artisan workshop weavings that translated modernist artworks into richly textured wool tapestries, this piece captures the bold geometry, stylized portraiture, and saturated palette associated with both Picasso’s original composition and Peruvian textile craftsmanship. Acquired from the Julie Ann Gallery in Gearhart, Oregon in the 1980s, the work remains vibrant and structurally sound. The lower corner of the weaving includes what may be the maker’s initials, though the exact artist is unknown. Details & Notes
