Description :
Offered here is an original glass sculpture by Joseph Rossano, created in a tall, elegant decanter‑inspired form. Though shaped like a vessel with a cap, the two elements are fully fused, forming a single sculptural object intended solely for display. The piece showcases a striking interplay of deep blue and luminous green glass, the colors shifting and layering through the elongated form to create a vivid, fluid presence. This is a very tall, delicate work with strong visual impact. The sculpture is signed on the underside.
Some photos show the piece alongside a taller matched work by the same artist; that companion piece is not included and is offered separately. A refined, color‑forward example of Rossano’s sculptural glass practice. Joseph Rossano (b. 1960) is an American multidisciplinary artist whose work bridges art, science, and environmental research. Known for projects such as The Salmon School and The Global Classroom, Rossano collaborates with scientists, museums, and conservation groups to translate ecological data into sculptural and installation‑based artworks. His practice spans glass, metal, organic materials, and mixed media, often exploring humanity’s relationship with the natural world through concept‑driven forms. Rossano’s work is held in private and institutional collections, and he continues to be recognized for his ability to merge craftsmanship, environmental narrative, and contemporary sculptural design.Artist Bio – Joseph Rossano
