Description :
2 works on paper with very different effects - Vintage print of a bucolic farmhouse scene. The image is a reproduction of Edward Lamson Henry's painting "Uplands at Bow" which is housed at the Mary Baker Eddy Library. Prints of this painting were quite popular in the early 1900s and we suspect this may date from that time period or thereabouts. Colors are warm and the quality looks good - the wooden frame is in good vintage condition. Measures 17" H x 25.5" W framed. Contemporary photo from local photographer Bill Trueit. It looks like a marina on Lake Union near Westlake given the positioning of the downtown buildings in the background. The photo is double matted with spacing and has a sleek black frame. Signed by the photographer in the lower right. Measures 15" H x 13" W framed.
