Description :

This pair of white ceramic bookends are in the shape of a woman's head against an upright book. They have sensuous lines and a lovely, crackled finish due to age. While they are relatively heavy as is, you have the option to fill them with sand to make them even heavier via the hole on the bottom. They measure 7.5" H x 8" L x 4.5" D. We believe these are from the 1920s-1930s and while they still look terrific, they do have the following flaws to be expected given their age (see last 2 photos for details):

-Hairline crack on one head & a couple of very slight discolorations - neither affects function and while visible, the piece still looks terrific.

- Minor repair on base of the other bookend on the book - doesn't show when in use as it is on the inside back of the bookend.
