Description :

This Meissen blue and white porcelain plate features a hand‑painted cobalt floral motif and multiple hand‑applied crossed‑swords marks. The marks are sloppy, unevenly executed, and visible on both the front and underside of the plate, consistent with decorator or apprentice practice pieces. Several underside marks include two strike‑through lines, a known indicator used by Meissen to denote pieces that did not meet first‑quality standards but were still sold through factory outlets.

The plate shows classic Meissen cobalt decoration, with brushwork visible in the floral elements and rim detailing. All markings, pattern details, and condition notes are documented in the photos.
