Description :

A finely painted pair of Meissen porcelain teacups with their matching saucers, each decorated in classic blue‑and‑white floral motifs. All four pieces bear authentic Meissen factory marks, and this set is notable for presenting two distinct crossed‑swords variants:

  • One teacup and one saucer display the crossed swords with a dot between the hilts, a documented Meissen mark used during specific production periods.

  • The other teacup and saucer carry the traditional crossed‑swords mark without the dot.

These contrasting marks clearly illustrate Meissen’s mark evolution and offer added collector interest. Painter’s numerals and work marks are present on the undersides of each piece.

The teacups feature scalloped rims and loop handles, with the saucers echoing the same botanical decoration and edge profile.

Features:

  • Pair of Meissen porcelain teacups with matching saucers

  • Blue‑and‑white hand‑painted floral decoration

  • Two distinct Meissen marks represented:

    • Crossed‑swords‑with‑dot variant (one cup, one saucer)

    • Traditional crossed‑swords mark (one cup, one saucer)

  • Scalloped rims and classic Meissen forms

  • Underside painter’s numerals and work marks on all pieces

Condition: Light surface wear consistent with age and display. One saucer has a small chip, shown clearly in the photographs. No cracks or repairs observed. Decoration remains crisp and well‑preserved.
