Description :

Egyptian pharaoh, identified as a depiction of King Tut. These busts are commonly crafted from materials like resin, basalt, or granite, often hand-painted or polished to achieve the desired finish.

The black color, while striking, does not represent skin tone. Instead, it symbolizes "Kemet" (the Black Land), referring to the fertile soil of the Nile River, and carries connotations of rebirth, fertility, and the afterlife in ancient Egyptian beliefs. Such busts serve as decorative items, collectibles, and can also be inspired by funerary statues (like Ka statues) intended to provide a resting place for the spirit in the afterlife. Many modern reproductions are handcrafted in Egypt, continuing the tradition of ancient Egyptian artistry.
