Description :

Molas are not just decorative; they are a significant part of Kuna women's traditional attire and represent a rich cultural heritage, actively cultivated and passed down through generations. The term "mola" is the Kuna word for clothing, and it specifically refers to the decorative front and back panels of Kuna women's traditional blouses. Molas evolved from earlier traditions of body painting, with designs initially painted on cloth and later developed into the intricate reverse appliqué technique seen today.
Framing was done in Iowa and Washington States. Frames have flecking or wear. Textiles looks perfect. Usable condition.
Dimensions : 15 inches in L x 18 inches in H
