Description :
A story told today is the shape of the bottle was because the monks would carry that shape of bottle in their 'habit'. It's a 1994, a great year in many regions, but will it be very good? The region is Franken in Germany. The grape is Bacchus - not a variety that yields interest but it is very robust to grow and deals with cool climates well. Worth opening but don't get your hopes up - it probably wasn't that great to start with, nor intended to be aged. That bottle shape is called Bocksbeutel, which literally translates to goat scrotum.
Dimensions : 9” in L x 5” in W x 13” in H
