Description :

"Banya" from Victor Vasarely (Hungarian-French, 1908-1997). 1964 serigraph laid on board.

This serigraph is after Vasarely's original gouache work on hard board of the same name in London's Tate Collection. Inscribed 'Vasarely' at bottom point -  to be hung diagonally. Measures 14.75" square framed behind glass in an aluminum frame.

Victor Vasarely was a Hungarian-French artist, who is widely accepted as a "grandfather" and leader of the Op Art movement. His work titled "Zebra", created in 1937, is considered by some to be one of the earliest examples of Op Art. - Wikipedia
