Description :
From the United States Postal Commemorative Society comes a large scale book (15.5" H x 11.75" W) with space- themed stamps; all postmarked from various locations on the 10th Anniversary of the Moon Landing (July 20, 1979). Locations include Cape Canaveral, Huntsville, Houston, Mountain View CA, and more places related to the aerospace industry. There is informational text for each themed stamp with lots of detail and illustrations. Total of 13 stamps in the large book. 1979. Also included in lot are an additional 3 collector's cards with first day of issue postmarked/stamped envelopes for Apollo 8 (May 5, 1969), Apollo/Soyuz (July 15, 1975), and Mariner 10 (April 4, 1975). Please note: at some point water was spilled/seeped into the large book. Several of the pages were stuck together as a result and were obviously pulled apart rather roughly. None of the stamps were affected, but the pages are definitely affected - please look at all photos closely to gauge your tolerance for the damage. Shipping available only through Fed Ex Pack & Ship
