Description :
A magnificent piece of audiophile history: the legendary McIntosh MC2105 Solid State Stereo Power Amplifier. Manufactured during the golden era of high-fidelity audio (1967–1977), the MC2105is famous for being McIntosh Laboratory's very first solid-state amplifier to feature their iconic, mesmerizing glowing blue VU meters. This premium collector’s lot includes the highly desirable original factory walnut wood cabinet enclosure, along with incredibly rare, regional ephemera—an original promotional brochure listing the initial $649.00 MSRP and a vintage "Free Amplifier Clinic" invitation from the historic Electricraft Stereo Centers, Inc. of Seattle, WA. Controls: All front-panel tactile knobs (Left Gain, Right Gain, Meter Range, Speaker Selector, and Power) are intact, original, and turn smoothly. The accompanying vintage promotional literature and Electricraft invitation are completely intact, free of major tears, and display a beautiful historic patina. While the amplifier reliably powers on, it has not been tested for full operational functionality or audio performance across terminal outputs. **approximately 70 lbs can be a challenge to lift
