Description :
An exceptional sterling silver wire wrap cuff bracelet handcrafted by the highly respected Tlingit artist Gene Chilton (Juneau, Alaska). This striking Northwest Coast jewelry piece features a traditional Raven (Yéil) crest motif, masterfully engraved in Chilton’s signature formline style. The flexible, open-ended wrap design culminates on one side with a finely sculpted, dimensionally carved Raven head, while the remaining band is intricately chased with stylized feather and wing formline elements. The interior is hand-engraved with the artist's signature, Gene Chilton, ensuring its authenticity. Combining ancestral narrative with contemporary wearability, this piece represents a superb example of modern Alaskan Indigenous silversmithing. Gene Chilton is a celebrated Tlingit artist from the Raven moiety and the Deisheetaan (Beaver) clan of Angoon, Alaska. Over a decades-long career, he has become renowned for his precision formline engraving in silver and gold, as well as his masterfully carved wooden totems, paddles, and masks. His work is highly sought after by collectors of Northwest Coast art and is featured in major galleries and cultural institutions across Alaska and the Pacific Northwest. Details & Specifications
