Description :

This museum-quality antique Bohemian crystal trinket box showcases a spectacular display of light and geometry. Composed of two heavy, interlocking sections, the flawless spherical silhouette achieves true optical symmetry when the lid is joined to the deeply notched matching base

The piece is lavishly decorated across all surfaces. The crown of the lid centers around an exceptional 8-point Brunswick starburst motif, encircled by a complex geometric lattice of deep-mitre incisions. The cascading layers transition into deep diamond prisms, intricate pinwheels, and fine-tooth fan edges. Because each micro-facet has been polished manually to a mirror-like finish, the high-lead crystal catches ambient light to generate intense internal refraction and prismatic color play.

Such premium overlay works were executed in strictly limited numbers for aristocratic salons and high-end international export commissions, making this an elite addition to any collection of fine European glass art.
