Description :

Craig Tennant "Don't Bite Me" Signed Framed Original Oil on Canvas

Original oil on canvas titled "Don't Bite Me" by Craig Tennant, depicting a rider on horseback leading two pack animals through a shallow forest stream. Rich earth tones, deep green trees, and reflective water are rendered with realistic detail and expressive brushwork, creating a peaceful outdoor scene. Signed by Craig Tennant in the lower left, the painting is presented in a textured light wood frame with a cream fabric mat and decorative inner liner. The reverse includes handwritten labels identifying the artist, title, medium, and dimensions, as well as a vintage handwritten note that appears to indicate an original price of $4,800.00 plus tax, dated June 20, 2004. The back of the frame also bears a Sanders Custom Frames label from Kalispell, Montana, along with a 30th Anniversary (1971–2001) Sanders Custom Frames emblem.

Craig Tennant is an award-winning American painter whose historically accurate oil depictions of cowboys and Native Americans reside in the nation's premier Western art collections. After transitioning from a twenty-year commercial illustration career in New York, he moved to Colorado to focus entirely on fine art, winning major honors like the Frederic Remington Painting Award. Today, his dramatic, expressive masterworks are preserved in prestigious permanent institutions, including the Eiteljorg Museum in Indianapolis, the Booth Western Art Museum in Georgia, and the notable Anschutz Collection at the American Museum of Western Art in Denver
