Description :
Tlaquepaque pottery is celebrated for its distinctive "barro" (earthenware) construction, often featuring high-gloss lead-free or traditional glazes and delicate, brush-painted details such as florals, birds, or abstract foliage. This specific set captures the quintessential aesthetic of the mid-20th-century artisan tradition. The collection includes a variety of sizes, making it an excellent decorative display. While there is some expected surface wear on the pans consistent with age and previous use, the pieces remain in good vintage condition with no structural issues. Measurements: Smallest Piece: 6 inches (Length) x 6 inches (Width) x 1 inch (Height) Largest Piece: 11 inches (Length) x 10 inches (Width) x 4 inches (Height)This lot features a charming collection of vintage Tlaquepaque pottery, characterized by a vibrant lime green glaze and traditional hand-painted motifs. Originating from the renowned pottery center of Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico, these pieces reflect the classic Mexican folk art style that gained international popularity between the 1930s and 1970s.
