Description :

Pair of vintage Mexican feathercraft bird artworks, each featuring vibrant plumage arranged on a black velvet background. These striking compositions showcase traditional feather artistry, a technique rooted in Mexican folk craft. Each bird is composed of dyed feathers from indigenous species, meticulously arranged to form stylized, colorful designs.

Housed in matching hand-carved wooden frames made of native Mexican wood, the pieces reflect both craftsmanship and cultural heritage. The reverse side of one frame includes a printed summary titled “The Story of Feather Pictures”, describing the origins and process of feathercraft. Both are stamped Made in Mexico and signed Mexico; artist unknown.

Condition: Very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age. Frames are intact and display well. No loose feathers noted.

Dimensions : 7 in W x 13 in H
