Description :
We've been told that landlines are making a comeback - particularly amongst some Gen Z folks who don't like being tracked by an iphone. If this is true, we have some finds for you hipsters out there! Take a look at these two landline phones: Pig phone from Telemania can be wall or desktop phone - the plastic pig reclines and the headphone is his belly. The pushbutton deck is on the inside of his belly. Ringer is a pig snort. Appears to be new given the packaging and the sealed instruction booklet despite the box showing wear from storage. Box seal was open so we took it out to photograph & repacked. Measures approx. 11" L x 7" W. Alvin (from Alvin & The Chipmunks fame) phone from Carlton Company made of brightly colored plastic in 1984. The pushbutton phone deck is under the yellow "A" on Alvin's front. While the phone appears to be in terrific cosmetic shape, we don't think it's new as there was no plastic sack inside the box (only the Styrofoam braces) and the instruction booklet wasn't in a plastic envelope. There is also some fading on the "A" of Alvin's sweater, so we are guessing it may have been used a bit. The phone is fairly large measuring approx. 15" H. Please note that we were unable to test either phone as we got rid of our landline 2 years ago - guess we truly out of the "cool" loop... Landline Phones Are Back. Here's Why
